Sunday Morning Preview: Doubting God, “Can faith and science work together?”

Many people see faith and science like oil and water.  The two just don’t go together.  But could they be like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup where two different ingredients come together to make something delicious?

In Sunday’s message we will seek to answer that question.  In particular we will look at the two greatest challenges between science and faith: Miracles and the creation/evolution debate.  Richard Dawkins, author of The God Delusion argues that you cannot be an intelligent person and have a faith in God.  He thinks they are oil and water.  Many Christian scientists, like Francis Collins and Hugh Ross, and Ken Hamm, would argue it’s more like a Reese’s Peanut Cup (These guys views though have more chocolate and the other more peanut butter on how they bring the two together).  Many Christians believe that science outright contradicts the Bible and that science is leading us to ungodliness.

Can science and faith come together?  We are going to talk about it Sunday.  See you there!
